Regular service
The La Leche League encourages, promotes and provides mother-to-mother breastfeeding support and educational opportunities. Local leaders provide one-on-one telephone support and facilitate series meetings.
  • Four meetings are held in Huntsville for pregnant and new mothers to promote and assist with breastfeeding.
  • Topics include:
    • advantages of breastfeeding
    • the family and the breastfed baby
    • art of breastfeeding and avoiding difficulties
    • nutrition and weaning.
  • Monthly meetings held at the Huntsville Public Library
