Description (Service)

Provide services and supports to people with developmental / intellectual disabilities and their families. Focus on community inclusion in all aspects of community life.

Children's Services provide support for families to obtain services and advocate for their children including:

Resource Teacher Program for families with children ages 2 to 6
Family Support Program for families with children ages 6 to 18

Adult Services include:

self-help supports
communication skills
community awareness
social and academic skills
recreation and leisure
employment skills

Adult residential support is offered in several settings through people's own homes, group homes and the Supported Independent Living Program.

Hours	Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm
Areas Served	Huntsville ; Residency Requirements: Port Sydney (south), Novar (north)
Boundaries	Port Sydney (south), Novar (north)
Eligibility	Infants, Children, Youth, Adults and Older Adults with a developmental/intellectual delay or disability and family members Must meet Residency Requirements
Application	Application through Developmental Services Ontario Call for children under the age of 18 years
